Summary
NHP TCD in SCD Webinar 14 June 2024, which premise was outlined as follows:
-To discuss aspects of the TCD screening protocol
that require clarification, particularly regarding low or asymmetric velocities in relation to stroke risk classification as these were not used in the original STOP trials.
-The broader objective being to expand TCD stroke risk criteria for improved classification
of stroke risk
- Harness the value of a diverse audience and perspectives for collective knowledge enhancement.
