The linked NHP activity report for 2023/2024 (published 21 November 2024) features continued increase in demand, and hence MDT engagement, for expert opinions and approvals for high cost therapy. There was continued sole and collaborated efforts in the areas of patient advocacy, public awareness programmes, clinician training, consensus on best practice and much more, as outlined in the attached report.
During this period, the founding Chair, Professor Baba Inusa, announced his intention to leave the NHS and this role at the end of the financial period. He will be missed by all.
