Every year, the NHP has operational and governance meetings with the panel members, HCCs, NHC CRG/England Commissioners, project leads and patient representative groups.
As of May 2025, the format change from 2 long meetings twice a year to 4 shorter meetings a year to allow for deeper discussion and smoother continuity.
This is a very important forum for learning, transparency, addressing governance issues, and sharing new ideas, progress and challenges. While mandated by NHS England, is a wholly worthwhile gathering, with many productive outcomes.
