NHP TCD in SCD Webinar scheduled for 14 June 2023 is based on the premise outlined below:
-To discuss aspects of the TCD screening protocol
that require clarification, particularly regarding low or asymmetric velocities in relation to stroke risk classification as these were not used in the original STOP trials.
-The broader objective being to expand TCD stroke risk criteria for improved classification
of stroke risk
