February 2026; The Transcranial Doppler (TCD) QA Standards & Guidance working group have published the third edition of the Standards & Guidance to replace the second edition TCD standards published in September 2019. These updated standards include clarification of the target age group, new guidance for non-imaging and imaging TCD non-diagnostic findings and provide information on training, quality assurance, the National Haemoglobinopathy Registry and the TCD Practitioner Register held by the UK Forum.
